Safaricom invest a unique way of doing business through one Purpose; to ‘Transform Lives’. Safaricom seeks to create opportunities for Kenyans to be a part of their growth story by empowering them with the right tools for economic growth. The “Simu ya Jamii” innovation allowed Kenyans to earn money from operating small, mobile pay phones.
Educate Executives on Sustainability Strategies and Assess Sustainability Strategy
CSE designed and implemented a tailor-made Executive Sustainability Workshop with the objective of creating a common understanding of CSR and Sustainability across all Safaricom’s Executives. The workshop presented all critical issues related to CSR, as it pertains to the regional, sector, and company-specific needs of the organization. All executives and managers joint the 2 day workshop. A benchmarking of Safaricom and Assessment of its Sustainability Strategy was included in the deliverables.
