CSE Issues Its First Sustainability Report

Centre for Sustainability (CSE) is committed to behaving as a responsible corporate citizen and is a signatory of the UN Global Compact. The CSE is committed to the UNGC and endorses GC’s 10 Principles, referring to human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption. Most importantly all the above mentioned areas are fully embedded within the culture or our organization. This applies equally to activities within the organization and to CSE’s relationships and work with all its stakeholders.

This commitment is interpreted via CSE’s incorporation of the UN Global compact and its Principles, as a vital component of our strategic direction, policy, operations and services which we offer and promote in the markets in which we operate.

We believe in the spirit of transparency, as a result we ensure that information pertaining to the economic, social and environmental effects of our operations, is accessible and available to all stakeholders. This Communication on Progress (CoP) forms an internal part of our commitment. It covers the period from July 2007 to July 2008.

The following pages provide a detailed breakdown of our commitment to each of the 10 Principles, the different policies, process and management system we have in place and our actions and targets for continuous improvement.

We welcome any comments and/or enquiries pertaining to the presentation of our data and information.
