CSE CERTIFIED OSCE INFORMAL MINISTERIAL MEETING IN CORFU AS CLIMATE NEUTRAL

At the informal meeting of OSCE foreign ministers, that took place on June 27-28 in the Greek island of Corfu, the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE) highlighted the ever-pressing matter of Climate Change, by conducting all necessary calculations to certify the event as Carbon Neutral.

The Greek Chairmanship hosted the informal meeting of the 56 OSCE Foreign Ministers, which covers a wide geographical area from Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and North America. Top governmental officials attended the meeting including, the Foreign Minister of Russian Federation, Mr. Sergey Lavrov, the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), Mr. Javier Solana, and the US Under Secretary of State, Mr. James Steinberg.

CSE, as a leading organisation specialised in providing sustainable development solutions, proceeded to certify the meeting as carbon neutral. During the meeting, the “Climate Neutral” certificate was presented by the Greek MFA to all delegates.  All GHG emissions produced during the organisation of the meeting were calculated based on international standards, and offset to support renewable energy projects and research, via the cooperation of the Swiss, not for profit organisation, myclimate. CSE is the exclusive partner of myclimate in Greece.
