The Centre for Sustainability (CSE) has been selected by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as a GRI Training Provider in Greece. Through this collaboration, CSE is offering Certified GRI Training in Greece for the effective publication of CSR/ Sustainability Reporting in alignment with the new GRI G3 Guidelines.
The onset of this collaboration includes the launch of CSE’s is first cycle of GRI Training, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program. CSE is offering FREE GRI Training for Business Executives and Public Organizations! Training will be provided as part of CSE’s series of successful Certified Training Programs such as, “Accredited CSR practitioner” & “Climate Change Leader’’, which that have benefited thousands of executives in leading companies around the globe.
GRI Training will take place on September 21 – 22, 2010 at the headquarters of The Athenian Brewery, a kind supporter of the initiative and CSE.
It is noted that the Centre for Sustainability (CSE), through its years of experience in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Solutions has been collaborating with the GRI since 2006 as a Stakeholder Organization, having designed and delivered multiple award-winning Sustainability Reports for top organizations and institutions not only in Greece but also abroad (GEFYRA Rio Antirio, McCain, etc).

About the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
The GRI is an international non-profit organization that broke new ground by developing a framework for the issuance of corporate and organizational CSR reports. This framework has been created on the basis of the principles and indicators that an organization can use to measure and reflect its economic, environmental and social performance. The GRI, to strengthen and promote the importance of adoption Sustainability Reporting and Corporate Responsibility, has built a network of partners whose role is to inform and train professionals and leaders on the importance and necessity for the application of the standard.
