Michael J. Sheridan is an experienced educator specializing in sustainability, business management, and organizational behavior. With a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s in sustainable development from Appalachian State University, he has dedicated his career to advising small businesses, non-profits, and municipalities on sustainability issues. His expertise includes integrating sustainable practices into business strategies, enhancing organizational efficiency, and fostering long-term environmental stewardship. He is a Certified ESG Practitioner and is certified in Corporate Value Chain Emissions reporting.
Currently an Associate Professor at SUNY New Paltz, Michael has a history of both academic and practical achievements. He has spearheaded numerous sustainability initiatives, including the development of green revolving funds and the creation of strategic partnerships to promote environmental literacy. His research has been published in numerous journals, including Organization & Environment.
Michael lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with his wife and two daughters.
