The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence is excited to welcome New Horizon Strategies, LLC to its network of affiliates! New Horizon Strategies (NHS), provides individuals and organizations the necessary support to reach astonishing milestones. NHS offers professional speaking, coaching, consulting, and facilitation in the niches of both business and career ventures.
Laurie Peterson founded New Horizon Strategies, in 2011 to inspire sustainable change in the professional world. She has coached clients from Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and around the world. Laurie spent the first two decades of her career working as a life support system manager at the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas. In her role as the NASA JSC Sustainability Champion, she awarded the “NASA Power of One” based on the significant achievement of creating the NASA JSC Sustainability Organizational Development Structure, Communications Strategy, Operating Rhythm, Sustainability Engagement Strategy, and Annual Sustainability Report.
Laurie is also a Certified Sustainability Practitioner through CSE. Her research project included investigation of the ways the Global Reporting Initiative could be used within large organizations to maximize reporting reach. We are excited to work with New Horizon Strategies in our combined efforts to continue making the world a better place, one person, team, organization, and community at a time.
