The Sustainability Report is a very important transparency and communication tool that captures and publishes the organization’s entire Sustainability strategy, from development and implementation to integration and assessment. It is of critical importance that via the sustainability report, the organization opts to measure and report on its economic, social and environmental performance.
CSE, with its long and worldwide experience, effectively guides and supports organizations design, plan and write a strong Sustainability Report, after review of the organization’s Sustainability Strategy and identification of key material and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), in full compliance with internationally accepted guidelines and principles, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
Integrated Reporting (IR) based on IIRC guidelines
International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) has launched a principles-based framework that allows businesses to tell their story on their own terms. The principles-based approach demands a cultural shift on the part of report preparers to better communicate the value they are creating. Users of IIRC guidelines would need to recognize their reporting as a platform to explain what drives the underlying value of the business and how management has acted to develop and protect this value.
Integrated Reporting is built around seven key components of content: business model, organizational overview and external environment, opportunities and risks, strategy and resource allocation, performance, outlook and governance.
