Une enqu\u00eate r\u00e9cente men\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/conferenceboard.esgauge.org\/login\">le Conference Board et ESGAUGE <\/a>a recueilli les points de vue de 70 entreprises am\u00e9ricaines et multinationales, mettant en lumi\u00e8re la mani\u00e8re dont les \u00e9quipes charg\u00e9es du d\u00e9veloppement durable sont structur\u00e9es, la fa\u00e7on dont elles collaborent avec d'autres fonctions de l'entreprise et les meilleures pratiques qui se font jour.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>L'importance de la structure<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La mani\u00e8re dont les entreprises con\u00e7oivent et positionnent leurs \u00e9quipes charg\u00e9es du d\u00e9veloppement durable a un impact direct sur l'int\u00e9gration des initiatives environnementales, sociales et de gouvernance (ESG) dans le processus d\u00e9cisionnel de l'entreprise. Selon l'\u00e9tude, la plupart des organisations adoptent une approche de d\u00e9veloppement durable. <strong>mod\u00e8le hybride <\/strong>- une \u00e9quipe centrale l\u00e9g\u00e8re d\u00e9finit la strat\u00e9gie et la gouvernance, tandis que des agents de liaison r\u00e9partis int\u00e8grent le d\u00e9veloppement durable dans les activit\u00e9s quotidiennes.<\/p>\n<p>Cette approche permet <strong>coh\u00e9rence<\/strong> tout en garantissant <strong>responsabilit\u00e9<\/strong> au niveau de l'unit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle. Il refl\u00e8te \u00e9galement des <strong>limitations des ressources<\/strong>Dans plus de 60% des entreprises interrog\u00e9es, l'\u00e9quipe centrale charg\u00e9e du d\u00e9veloppement durable ne compte qu'un \u00e0 cinq employ\u00e9s \u00e0 temps plein. En r\u00e9partissant les responsabilit\u00e9s entre les diff\u00e9rentes fonctions, les entreprises maximisent leur impact avec des budgets limit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les les moins courants sont les structures centralis\u00e9es (environ 19%) et les \u00e9quipes enti\u00e8rement distribu\u00e9es (9%). Notamment, aucune entreprise interrog\u00e9e n'a fait \u00e9tat d'une approche totalement d\u00e9centralis\u00e9e, ce qui souligne l'importance d'une gouvernance coordonn\u00e9e dans le contexte actuel de la r\u00e9glementation et des parties prenantes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Anticiper les ajustements structurels<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La moiti\u00e9 des entreprises interrog\u00e9es pr\u00e9voient d'adapter leurs structures de d\u00e9veloppement durable au cours des deux prochaines ann\u00e9es. Si seulement 16% pr\u00e9voient une restructuration majeure, 34% anticipent des am\u00e9liorations plus modestes visant \u00e0 :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Renforcer les fonctions transversales <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conference-board.org\/publications\/organizing-for-success-in-corporate-sustainability-2-0\">collaboration<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Int\u00e9gration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conference-board.org\/publications\/organizing-for-success-in-corporate-sustainability-2-0\">GSE <\/a>dans les domaines de la finance, du risque et de la strat\u00e9gie<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Redistribution des r\u00f4les en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement durable dans les unit\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Am\u00e9liorer l'int\u00e9gration dans les op\u00e9rations de base<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les forces motrices qui sous-tendent ces ajustements sont claires : les entreprises veulent aligner l'ESG sur leur strat\u00e9gie \u00e0 long terme, renforcer leur r\u00e9silience et se conformer \u00e0 des r\u00e9glementations en constante \u00e9volution, telles que la directive europ\u00e9enne sur la protection de l'environnement et les droits de l'homme. <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.ec.europa.eu\/capital-markets-union-and-financial-markets\/company-reporting-and-auditing\/company-reporting\/corporate-sustainability-reporting_en\">Directive sur l'\u00e9tablissement de rapports sur le d\u00e9veloppement durable des entreprises <\/a>(CSRD) et de nouvelles r\u00e8gles en mati\u00e8re de divulgation d'informations sur le climat dans l'UE. <a href=\"https:\/\/ww2.arb.ca.gov\/our-work\/programs\/california-corporate-greenhouse-gas-ghg-reporting-and-climate-related-financial\">Californie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Une int\u00e9gration plus pouss\u00e9e entre les fonctions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>L'\u00e9tude montre que si le d\u00e9veloppement durable est mod\u00e9r\u00e9ment int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans de nombreux domaines, tels que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conference-board.org\/publications\/Sustainability-Under-Scrutiny-Corporate-ESG-in-an-Uncertain-Policy-Environment\">juridique<\/a>L'int\u00e9gration des achats \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle de l'entreprise reste rare. Les contrats avec les fournisseurs \u00e9voluent pour inclure des crit\u00e8res de durabilit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gestion des risques<\/strong>: Les risques ESG tels que le climat, la perte de biodiversit\u00e9 et l'instabilit\u00e9 sociale sont ajout\u00e9s aux registres des risques des entreprises.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Op\u00e9rations<\/strong>: L'efficacit\u00e9, la d\u00e9carbonisation et la r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9chets restent des leviers essentiels pour obtenir des r\u00e9sultats mesurables.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovation et R&amp;D<\/strong>: Peu d'entreprises relient actuellement leurs projets d'innovation \u00e0 des objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable, ce qui constitue une occasion manqu\u00e9e de se diff\u00e9rencier de la concurrence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Gouvernance et responsabilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>L'une des conclusions les plus importantes de l'enqu\u00eate est l'efficacit\u00e9 de l'action de la Commission europ\u00e9enne. <strong>des comit\u00e9s directeurs transversaux sur le d\u00e9veloppement durable<\/strong>. Les r\u00e9pondants \u00e0 l'enqu\u00eate ont identifi\u00e9 trois lacunes critiques en mati\u00e8re de capacit\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Mod\u00e9lisation financi\u00e8re<\/strong> - faire de la<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conference-board.org\/publications\/the-sustainability-dividend-a-primer-on-sustainability-ROI\"> analyse de rentabilit\u00e9<\/a> pour des investissements durables<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gestion du changement<\/strong> - int\u00e9grer l'ESG dans la culture organisationnelle<\/li>\n<li><strong>Analyse des donn\u00e9es<\/strong> - mesurer les progr\u00e8s et en rendre compte de mani\u00e8re cr\u00e9dible<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>En raison des contraintes budg\u00e9taires, seules 60% des entreprises pr\u00e9voient d'\u00e9toffer leurs \u00e9quipes charg\u00e9es du d\u00e9veloppement durable au cours des deux prochaines ann\u00e9es. Au lieu de cela, nombre d'entre elles donnent la priorit\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement durable. <a href=\"https:\/\/cse-net.org\/fr\/prochains-programmes-de-formation-certifies\/\">requalification <\/a>les employ\u00e9s actuels, en tirant parti des programmes de formation et en \u00e9tablissant des partenariats pour combler les lacunes en mati\u00e8re d'expertise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Possibilit\u00e9s de certification professionnelle<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Au CST, nous constatons une demande croissante de professionnels du d\u00e9veloppement durable capables de faire le lien entre les connaissances techniques en mati\u00e8re d'ESG et la perspicacit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re et strat\u00e9gique. Les programmes de formation et de certification sont essentiels pour combler ces lacunes et pr\u00e9parer les dirigeants \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux attentes croissantes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9volution des \u00e9quipes de d\u00e9veloppement durable refl\u00e8te un changement plus large : La GSE n'est plus seulement une question de conformit\u00e9 ou de r\u00e9putation - il s'agit de <strong>cr\u00e9ation de valeur \u00e0 long terme pour les entreprises<\/strong>. Les entreprises qui harmonisent la gouvernance, les talents et l'int\u00e9gration interfonctionnelle seront mieux plac\u00e9es pour faire face \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 de la r\u00e9glementation, r\u00e9pondre aux demandes des investisseurs et saisir les opportunit\u00e9s de l'\u00e9conomie durable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Comme l'indique clairement l'\u00e9tude du Conference Board, la prochaine phase du d\u00e9veloppement durable des entreprises sera la suivante <strong><em>d\u00e9pendent de l'int\u00e9gration de l'ESG au c\u0153ur de la strat\u00e9gie d'entreprise<\/em><\/strong>.
