El concepto de huella de carbono representa internacionalmente una noci\u00f3n bien conocida, que puede ser calculada por particulares y empresas. Por otro lado, la huella h\u00eddrica es un concepto reci\u00e9n nacido, introducido en 2002 por el Instituto UNESCO-IHE como indicador alternativo del uso y consumo de agua. Existen varias encuestas y numerosos estudios sobre diversos escenarios de huella h\u00eddrica, pero no hay ninguna norma internacional con una metodolog\u00eda plenamente reconocida.<\/p>\n<p>El pasado mes de mayo se celebr\u00f3 en Bruselas una cumbre sobre la informaci\u00f3n de la huella h\u00eddrica con el objetivo de investigar el papel de las empresas frente al de los gobiernos, las ONG y los consumidores y trazar el camino hacia unas normas mundiales compartidas. El Director General de CSE, Nikos Avlonas, particip\u00f3 en la cumbre como ponente sobre el tema: \"Comprender la importancia del agua en un contexto m\u00e1s amplio\", mientras que CSE fue una organizaci\u00f3n de apoyo a la cumbre. Los temas que se debatieron durante su presentaci\u00f3n incluyeron la pr\u00e1ctica de la Huella H\u00eddrica, los informes de RSE y la Huella H\u00eddrica - Ejemplos clave. Organizaciones como Henkel, Anglo American, Diageo, Coca-Cola, Evian, Danone y Unilever participaron en la cumbre y presentaron su experiencia empresarial en materia de huella h\u00eddrica y gesti\u00f3n del agua.<\/p>\n<p>CSE ofrece servicios avanzados sobre estrategia de huella de carbono y evaluaci\u00f3n del ciclo de vida del carbono de los productos, y explora el potencial del concepto y las directrices de huella h\u00eddrica.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The importance of environmental awareness is growing, but is focused on climate change and air pollution.
