Nikos Avlonas

As one of the founders and Managing Director of the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) specialised in Total Quality Management / Business Excellence, Balanced Scorecards, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Nikos Avlonas has carried out the design and implementation of systems and methodologies for dozens of leading companies in Europe, as well as CSR assurance engagements for more than 60 organisations. He was the project leader for the creation of the European Model and pertinent methodologies for CSR and he collaborated with leading corporations on the implementation of those methodologies. He has carried out numerous seminars and workshops attended by senior managers and executives from various leading corporations and he has also contributed various articles for the international press.

Nick Andrews

Nick Andrews is currently the Managing Director at the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) for North American operations. He holds a Masters Degree in International Business, with a specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting using the GRI Framework & Guidelines, from DePaul University in Chicago. Mr. Andrews holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance also from DePaul University. Past work experience includes projects involving Climate Neutral product development and Climate Neutral Events creation with CSE in European markets.

Irene Daskalakis

Irene Daskalakis is currently the Research and Business Development Manager at the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE). She holds an MBA, with a concentration in International Business, from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece and a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and International Business from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. Irene has extensive experience in the fields of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development, International Grantmaking and International Business Development. Past experience includes work in the Global Programs and Partnerships Unit of the World Bank Group, where she was involved in the Group’s global programs and partnerships with international donors, and in the Political and Operations Section of the European Commission Delegation in Tirana, Albania, where she managed a project for the Albanian Government.

Marina Alonistioti

Marina Alonistioti is the Climate Change Solution Manager for CSE since 2008. She has a degree in Environmental Planning from the University of Central England in Birmingham and a Masters of Science in Environmental Management from the Coventry University. Marina has act as environmental consultant specialized in Environmental Management and Carbon Emissions Systems such as ISO14001 ,GHG protocol and other CSR related standards. She is an internal auditor for the ISO 14002:2004 standard. Marina used to be working as an environmental responsible on construction site and has worked as environmental consultant and Trainer for various companies. Marina is a specialist in waste management and has received training on that particular subject.

Nikolas C. Koudoumnakis

Nikolas C. Koudoumnakis is the Performance Management Specialist at the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE), since 2008. He is an engineer and has a degree in BEng (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Nikolas has also a Master’s of Science in Managing Business Performance from the University of Salford, UK. Furthermore, he has a Diploma in ISO9001:2000 Auditor Training Course (IRCA registered) from the Manchester Quality Centre. Nikolas has specialized in Quality Management systems with a variety of management tools like ISO9001:2000 Quality standard etc. He is also an expert in Performance Management and responsible for implementing CSE’s projects using the EFQM Business Excellence Model. Nikolas’ expertise spans in the areas of Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a variety of management tools such as GRI. Nikolas has worked as an Assistant Project Manager for a reputable construction company and has acted as a Business consultant for various companies. His involvement in diversified projects includes companies from many sectors, at a local (Greek) and international level.

Guler Manisali Darman

Mrs. Guler Manisali Darman is the author of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) Book, "Corporate Governance Worldwide"; Vice-Chair, ICC Commission on Financial Services and Insurance; Member, ICC Finance Committee- governing body of the ICC. Participated to International Conferences/Roundtables in China, Japan, South Africa, UK, Sweden, Norway, Italy, France, Morocco, Dubai, Czech Republic and Turkey, and had presentations on Corporate Governance and CSR in the last two and a half years, has articles and book chapters published on corporate governance.
She lectures on Corporate Governance in Middle East Technical University Faculty of Business Administration -Ankara, and TOBB Economy and Technology University-Ankara. She was the past CFO of Bilkent Group composed of 67 companies in Ankara for the years 1988 -2005. Past Secretary General of ICC Turkish National Committee between the years 1980-1988. Founding Member of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Turkey.
She set up her own consultancy company in 2005 in the field of corporate governance related services ranging from assessment to research and from raising awareness to compliance with a group of eligible partners.
She is a graduate of management from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, and has her MBA in Finance and finalizing her Phd in finance.
